Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide emergency care to patients with conditions such as trauma, stroke, and sepsis
• Utilize equipment such as ultrasound for IV insertion and Lucas Device
• Perform procedures like laceration repair, orthopedic trauma care, and psychiatric support
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement effective care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Active RN license at submission
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in an ED
• Strong adaptability, critical thinking, and communication skills
