We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board (VA).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting. Experience with mechanical ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, and arterial blood gas sampling required.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with ventilator setup, maintenance, and monitoring on adult and pediatric patients preferred.
• Ability to perform suctioning, tracheostomy care, chest physiotherapy, 12-lead EKG, and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Comfort working with invasive and non-invasive respiratory equipment, capnography, oximetry, and pulmonary function testing.
