The Waterjet Operator at SDC This individual will set up and operate the waterjet cutting center and assist in day-to-day shop operations. What You’ll Do Set up and operate the waterjet cutting center. Maintain machine shop cleanliness, upkeep, sweeping/cleaning floors, and organizing materials. Maintain waterjet cutting center equipment including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Assist manufacturing in preparing and finishing stock material and custom parts including saw cutting and basic machining operations. Maintain a safe and clean workspace. Requirements Familiarity with manufacturing processes, industry standards, and safety regulations. Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Willingness to support overtime as needed.
