Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Labor and Delivery department
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Utilize EPIC (electronic health records system) — experience required for daily documentation and patient management
• Float to additional departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
• EPIC experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
