We are supporting a large enterprise client based in Milwaukee on a critical website transformation initiative. The project involves migrating structured website content from an existing Contentful CMS environment into a newly architected Contentful instance. Due to timeline and budget constraints, we are seeking experienced Contentful migration professionals who can accelerate delivery while maintaining data integrity and content model consistency. This is a hands-on migration role requiring direct experience with Contentful's APIs, content models, environments, and publishing workflows . Key Responsibilities Lead and execute content migration from legacy Contentful space to new Contentful space
Analyze and map existing content models to new content architecture
Develop and run migration scripts using:
Contentful Management API Contentful CLI
JavaScript/Node.js migration tools
Perform bulk content export/import operations
Maintain asset relationships, references, and localization integrity
Troubleshoot common Contentful quirks such as:
Linked entries and circular references
Environment sync issues
Rate limits and API throttling
Rich text field migration complexities
Validate data accuracy post-migration
Coordinate with developers, architects, and content teams to ensure alignment
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer
