Senior Endoscopy Technician

Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP

- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years endoscopy experience
- SGNA completion for GI/Endoscopy OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 3+ years endoscopy experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong scope reprocessing / high-level disinfection skills required
- Clinical scope experience with colonoscopes, EGD/EGD scopes, ERCP, EUS/EBUS, enteroscopes, flex sigmoidoscopes
- Preferred: Experience with Olympus CV-190 processor, Olympus CLV-190 light source, Olympus 190 series scopes, CO2 insufflator/regulator, Erbe electrosurgical unit

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist medical staff during endoscopic procedures, ensuring safety and patient comfort.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment used during procedures.
- Perform reprocessing and high-level disinfection of scopes and other instruments.
- Document all relevant patient details and procedure information.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Two references covering one year within the last three years required.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
- Orientation and pre-start modules required (average ~16 hours).
- Include any requested time off at the time of submission.
