Long-Term Sub for Middle School Humanities/Math Burgundy Farm Country Day School is a progressive school on a pastoral 25‑acre campus near Alexandria, Virginia, serving 260 children in junior kindergarten through 8th grade. For more information, visit . Position Description This role combines several part‑time positions into a full‑day sub role. A third of the role is teaching 6th‑grade math, another third is team‑teaching some 7th and 8th‑grade humanities, and the final third is pushing in as a math and science resource teacher. The approximate allocation is: 5 periods of math per week, 5 periods of humanities, and about 8 push‑in math/science support classes as a second teacher. While the position responsibilities span a variety of subject areas, the successful candidate will have ample teacher and admin support to understand and carry out the specifics of the job.
