Personal Care Aide (PCA) - Saint Clairsville, OH

We're seeking a compassionate and caring Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our team. As a PCA, you'll play a vital role in assisting our residents with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity while providing personalized care.

About the Role:

• Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation

• Assist with meals, hydration, and snacks per individualized plans

• Encourage participation in recreational and social activities

• Maintain a clean, safe environment; promptly report maintenance or safety issues

• Document care provided in electronic or paper records per policy

• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional status to supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Completion of state-approved personal care training program or willing to complete upon hire

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred

• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and respect for older adults

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs; frequent standing and walking

• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Demonstrate compassion, integrity, and reliability in all duties
