Registered Respiratory Therapist III

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist III. This position is located in St. Petersburg, FL at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital and operates on a first shift, full-time schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week. The role involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders, initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, and operating respiratory care equipment.

Responsibilities include demonstrating competency in respiratory therapeutics, maintaining accurate documentation, blending patient care management skills with technical expertise, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, and maintaining compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications include an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences, advanced critical care training, a current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the State of Florida Department of Health, and current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. Preferred credentials include active membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and Florida Association for Respiratory Care (FSRC).

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary care facility serving St. Petersburg and surrounding communities for over 100 years.
