Description Automotive Service Manager - Larson Automotive Group Job Type Full-time Washington Reports to: Director of Fixed Ops Salary: $100,000 - $180,000 per manufacturer The Ideal Candidate Larson Automotive Group offers the right candidate the opportunity to take one of our 8 service departments to the next level. The perfect candidate will be able to oversee production of this busy service drive and maintain the flow of the department. The potential new manager will have strong leadership skills, experience as a service advisor or technician and knowledge of CDK and WI Advisor is always a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Forecast goals and objectives for the department. Administer a monthly operating budget for service department. Maintain reporting systems required by general management and the factory. Supervise the performance of all employees within the service department. Assist in hiring, training, motivating, and counseling service personnel. Assist the General Manager in achieving above average CSI scores. Forecast aggressive, yet realistic, monthly goals and objectives for the department and individual sales staff. Follow up on all unsold customers. Provide enthusiastic and professional leadership.? Other job duties as required. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise 10-20 employees. Carry out supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Interview, hire and train employees. Properly delegate and direct employee workloads. Evaluate employee performance including reviews and disciplinary actions. Employee must maintain no less than 32 hours per week to be considered ‘full-time’ for benefits. Larson Automotive Group also provides an Employee Assistance Program. This is a specialized referral program available to employees to assist in various personal situations. This includes counseling for substance abuse, financial difficulties, mental illness, family issues and more. These are all provided to the employee free of charge and confidential with a third party. Larson Automotive Group also helps plan for your future with our retirement plan available to all employees over the age of 21. The 401k plan starts after the completion of 2 months of employment, the employee will be automatically enrolled into the program starting at a 3% deduction and this will increase 1% per year for the first 3 years. The company does match 50% of the first 4% contributed by the employee. Employees on a budget or who want to know exactly what will be coming out of their check can also opt to have a flat dollar amount withheld from their check. We also offer a ROTH plan option as well. Employees can opt out of the plans at any time. Hourly and Salary employees will receive 6 paid holidays each year. We offer a competitive PTO (Paid Time Off) program; employees begin to accrue hours from day one worked (eligible to use after 90 days of employment). PTO is accrued for the first 2 years at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked at 3 to 10 years 1.53 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked and at 10 years 2.30 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked. Requirements Qualifications 2-4 years related experience and/or training. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and various business documents clearly and concisely. Basic mathematical aptitude including discounts, interest, and commissions. Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission. Highly capable problem solver. Effective communication skills Clean driving record Willing to submit to a background check & drug screen.
