Produce Stockers- Part-Time

Kimberton Whole Foods Produce Stocker

Kimberton Whole Foods in Douglassville is looking for two part-time produce stockers to join their team!

Schedule: Sundays are required. Part-time, up to 16 hours per week. Mix of opening and closing shifts.

Pay: $15.00 hourly to start, depending on experience

Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

Daily Operations: The produce stocker's primary responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• Working in collaboration with the produce department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
• Following the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• Understanding KWF inventory management practices.

Requirements:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
