A safety coordinator is responsible for the management and/or supervision of activities that are created to reduce the risk of accidents within the workplace.
In most cases, safety coordinators' job description entails working closely with supervisors, top management and employees within an organization to develop policies that ensure the safety of workers at all times. These policies clearly describe what is expected of every individual within the company as regards safety.
