Database Developer

Consultant PositionThe Consultant will work with the Patient Outreach teams to understand patient follow up appointments that are performed in the clinics, this data is in Clarity tables. Upon gathering the data required we would tie the Medical Record and Patient Medical Information into the product performance tool using Tableau. This allows the MART group to track statistics and overall patient outreach performance. The ideal candidate is a great team player, will have a minimum of 5 years of database development and will show interest and have been exposed to a multitude of technologies. She/he would have excellent analytical skills with experience in working with web analytics tools, writing SQL queries, and proficient in creating reports with Tableau. If you are that person, we are looking for you!Principal Responsibilities:Strong experience and understanding in Clarity and table structures (over 500 tables)Experience pulling information from Clarity and building into Tableau reportingExtremely strong database skills (MySQL, SQL Server)Database development, querying, reporting and data migrationDevelop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packagesWrite, optimize, and tune complex SQL scriptsProven ability to write and develop reports in TableauMust have a thorough knowledge of, and experience building ETL jobs utilizing SSIS packages for data import, export, normalization, and manipulationMeet with business experts to analyze and document requirements from a database perspectiveBuilding customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling in Tableau ServerEstablish and maintain working relationships with technical and architectural team members across the technology organizationMinimum Requirements:Must have 5+ years of experience in ClarityExposure to web analyticsMust demonstrate a clear understanding of the logical and physical database design and data normalization conceptsMust have extensive hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2016 SSIS, MS SQL Server 2016, SSRS2 years of experience with Tableau and Tableau ServerPrevious experience with Kaiser PermanenteRequired Skills: Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: San Francisco Bay Area Consultants are required.
