About the Role
The Company is seeking a Divisional Chief Financial Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of financial services and management that align with the organization's operational and strategic goals. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and will involve overseeing the hospital's daily fiscal management. The Divisional CFO will work closely with the CEO, serve as a financial advisor, and be a key member of the financial team. Primary responsibilities include proactive financial advising, managing financial operations, and developing and communicating financial policies. The role also involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and collaboration with management on business strategy. Candidates for the Divisional CFO position should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a health-related field, with a Master's degree and CPA certification strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in general accounting principles and related functions is required, with a background that ideally includes working with external public accounting firms and previous experience as a CFO or Controller in a large hospital. The role demands a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to understand the competitive healthcare marketplace, and experience in negotiating and managing financial aspects of managed care. The Divisional CFO will also be expected to maintain professional growth, participate in relevant committees, and support process improvement initiatives.
