About The Role Reboot Monkey operates 24 datacenter facilities across 6 continents. Every one of those facilities needs reliable, skilled Data Center Technicians (DCTs) who can execute Smart Hands and Remote Hands work to our standard. The quality of our DCT pool is the single biggest factor determining whether clients stay or leave. As DCT Recruitment Specialist for the Asia‑Pacific (covering India, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Oceania), your job is to build and maintain a world‑class DCT pool in your region. You are not a generic recruiter – you need to deeply understand what makes a great datacenter technician. You know the difference between someone who can rack a server properly and someone who will strip a screw on the first try. This role requires someone who has either worked as a DCT or managed DCTs directly. You must know the work inside and out – structured cabling, cross‑connects, hardware installs, decommissions, labeling standards, hot/cold aisle management. What You'll Do Source, screen, and recruit Data Center Technicians across facilities in the APAC region Conduct technical screening interviews – assess hands‑on DC skills, not just resume keywords Build and maintain a vetted DCT pool organized by location, skill level, availability, and reliability score Verify technician credentials: certifications, references, and work history Create and maintain DCT skill assessments and practical evaluation criteria Coordinate onboarding of new DCTs: facility access, safety protocols, SOP training Track DCT performance after deployment – build a feedback loop with the operations team Continuously expand our DCT coverage to new markets and facilities in your region Manage relationships with DCT staffing agencies where we use them Maintain our DCT database with up‑to‑date availability, skills, and performance ratings Your KPIs DCT pool coverage: 2+ vetted technicians available per facility location in your region Time to fill: New DCT sourced and vetted within 5 business days for any location Quality score: 90%+ of deployed DCTs rated “meets or exceeds expectations” by clients Screening accuracy: Less than 10% of hired DCTs fail their first assignment Pool growth: Net addition of 10+ vetted DCTs per month in your region Compensation and Terms Monthly retainer: EUR 600–1,000 depending on experience Arrangement: Freelance / Contractor – you invoice us monthly Hours: Full‑time, 40 hours/week Time tracking: Hubstaff is required for all team members – this is how hours are verified for billing Performance reviews: Every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, then monthly. KPIs are shared upfront – no surprises. Payment: Monthly, on the 5th of each month for the previous month Preferred Locations This is a remote role. Paid trial task – A practical DCT screening exercise: you receive 5 candidate profiles and must evaluate each one – identify red flags, rank them, write screening questions, and recommend who to advance. Compensated at EUR 50–100 depending on scope. Reference check – One call with a previous employer or client Decision – Within 1 week of completing the trial task Why This Role Matters Our DCTs are the hands and eyes of our company at every facility worldwide. A great DCT delights clients. A bad one loses them. You are the quality gate that ensures only A‑players join our technician pool in your region. Requirements Direct datacenter experience – either as a DCT, DC operations manager, or NOC engineer. You must understand the physical work. 1+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or team staffing experience (formal or informal – managing a DCT pool counts) Ability to conduct technical interviews and assess hands‑on datacenter skills Knowledge of DC infrastructure: structured cabling, server racking, cross‑connects, PDUs, environmental monitoring Fluent written and spoken English Organized and detail‑oriented – managing a regional DCT database requires precision Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, or ATS tools to track candidates Nice to Haves Experience with Recruitee, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar ATS platforms Network of DCT contacts in your region Experience with freelancer/contractor management across different countries Knowledge of local labor regulations in key markets CompTIA, CDCP, or other datacenter certifications Apply with Your CV, a brief note on your DC/recruitment experience, and your availability to start. #J-18808-Ljbffr Reboot Monkey
