Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Shift: days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Operate and monitor cardiovascular equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and other cardiac-related procedures. Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols. Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media and medications. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of cath lab equipment. Assist team with patient transportation and positioning during procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed procedure logs and records. Qualifications Completion of an accredited educational program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology. Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze hemodynamic data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
