About the Role We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to join our curriculum team. This role focuses on building and maintaining high‑quality computer science curriculum for high school, with a strong emphasis on supporting teachers through effective instructional materials and resources. This is an in‑office position, which would require 5 days a week in the CodeHS Chicago office at 747 N LaSalle in River North. What You’ll Do Build and maintain computer science curriculum for high school courses Collaborate with the curriculum team to design and launch new courses Develop teacher‑facing materials including lesson plans, handouts, and activities Write and maintain alignments to standards Customize curriculum for schools, districts, and states Create instructional videos and supporting materials Develop familiarity with the CodeHS course catalog Qualifications 3+ years of experience working in the K–12 education system Experience with 6–12 computer science education preferred Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Creative, positive, and solution‑oriented mindset Location Full‑time, in‑office role in Chicago (River North).
