Professional nursing practices, requiring specialized knowledge, critical thinking, judgment, and skill are performed in accordance with practice policy, procedure, and philosophy.Responsibilities:1. Restores and promotes patient's health by completing the nursing process2. Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members3. Accurately and completely records all required data in the medical record and departmental database4. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families5. Use advanced communication skills with all levels of internal and external customers6. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and profession standards7. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential8. Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods9. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilitiesRequired Education, Credential(s) and Experience:Education: Associate Degree; Nursing, or Nursing Diploma.Credential(s): Basic Life Support(BLS) or the ability to sit for an on-site session, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Registered Nurse RN)Experience: Two years clinical nursing experience in a physician practice, hospital, or other medical specialized environment.Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience:Education: Bachelor Degree, NursingCredential(s): Certification related to the position, if applicable.Experience: Three or more years in a physician practice or hospital setting.
