Packaging Operator

Location: Atlanta Plant – 100, 3045 Commerce Way, Hapeville, GA 30354, USA Pay or shift range: $18.50 USD to $20 USD (estimated budgeted amount – final offers based on factors such as skill set, experience, location, and qualifications) Description Competitive Pay $18.50-20/hr plus benefits after 30 days. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for start‑up, attending, operating and adjusting various packaging machines. Secures packaged items on pallets and, when needed, operates pallet‑moving equipment to move items to and from the packaging lines to the stretch wrapper. Maintains quality standards for weights, seals/caps, appearance, etc. by machine adjustments and frequent quality checks. Performs minor maintenance repairs, adjustments, changeovers, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance as required. Responsible for equipment cleaning and maintaining a clean work area while observing all safety regulations. Fills in on packaging lines as needed. Observes all plant safety rules. Required Skills/Abilities High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in operation of packaging equipment. Pallet moving and forklift driving experience. Mechanical ability.
