Mind Training Mental Health Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role involves providing specialized therapeutic services to individuals dealing with a variety of co-occurring behavioral health issues, including trauma, substance dependence, depression, and anxiety, all while working remotely from Newberg, Oregon. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique needs.
  • Lead support groups for clients, fostering a safe and open environment for sharing experiences and facilitating recovery.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that outline clear goals and interventions based on thorough assessments.
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation while minimizing paperwork burden.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, support staff, and community resources, to enhance client outcomes.
  • Exercise sound clinical judgment in client care, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards.
  • Provide education and support regarding the 12-step recovery process as needed, helping clients navigate their paths to wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Mind Training, you will work closely with a diverse client population experiencing a variety of behavioral health issues. Clients come from varied backgrounds and may be facing complex challenges that warrant individualized support. Our approach values the uniqueness of each client, and we encourage cultural competence and sensitivity in order to foster effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or a related field from an accredited program (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
  • An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload effectively, ensuring that clients receive timely and appropriate care.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records and communication systems to maintain accurate client documentation and communications.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with co-occurring behavioral health issues and a strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the 12-step recovery process and how it can be integrated into therapy.
  • Previous experience in a community health setting and working with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, Mind Training provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as life and disability insurance.
