As Director of People Success supporting our Product and Engineering teams, you'll be a true strategic partner to VPs and senior leaders navigating rapid growth, org evolution, and the unique challenges of building at the frontier of AI. This isn't a support role — it's a seat at the table. You'll shape how our tech teams are structured, how talent grows, and how our culture scales as the company does.What You'll Be Working On:Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to Product and Engineering VPs — weighing in on org design, team structure, and people strategy as the business scalesTalent Planning: Lead organizational assessments and headcount planning to ensure our tech teams are built for where Crusoe is going, not just where we are todayManager Development: Coach and develop engineering and product managers — helping them level up as leaders, navigate performance conversations, and build high-performing teamsCareer Frameworks: Partner with leaders on leveling, growth paths, and career development that reflect the complexity and pace of a world-class tech organizationTalent Development: Identify high-potential individuals across Product and Engineering, and build the structured short and long-term programs — mentorship tracks, leadership pipelines, skill accelerators — that turn potential into sustained performance.Engagement & Retention: Drive strategies tailored to the needs of technical talent — understanding what keeps great engineers and PMs motivated and growingPeople Analytics: Use data to identify trends in organizational health, attrition risk, and team effectiveness — and translate those insights into actionTalent Acquisition Partnership: Collaborate with recruiting on hiring strategy, calibration, and candidate experience for key tech rolesPeople Programs: Work with the broader People Team to develop and refine programs — performance cycles, compensation reviews, management development — with the tech org’s needs front and centerCulture & Inclusion: Champion an inclusive, high-trust culture where diverse perspectives are valued and people do their best workChange Management: Lead teams through org evolution — helping engineers and PMs navigate ambiguity and stay aligned through periods of fast growthWhat You'll Bring to the Team:10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent, with meaningful time supporting Product and/or Engineering organizationsDeep fluency in what makes tech orgs tick — you understand how engineers and PMs think, what motivates them, and how to build trust in a technical environmentA track record of partnering with senior leaders on org design, headcount planning, and talent strategy — not just executing programs handed to youComfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments — you don’t need a perfect playbook to do great workStrong data orientation — you use people analytics to tell stories, spot risks, and make the case for what needs to changeThe kind of follow-through that makes people trust you completely — you do what you say, communicate proactively, and never leave a leader guessingHigh EQ and sound judgment — especially when navigating sensitive or complex people situations with discretionExperience coaching managers through difficult performance conversations, team dynamics, and leadership transitionsThe ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives from concept to execution — you’re a builder, not just an executorA bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experienceBonus Points:A genuine curiosity about AI and the infrastructure that powers it — you don’t need to write code, but you’re energized by what Crusoe is buildingExperience supporting a hypergrowth tech company through a significant scaling phaseFamiliarity with tools like Workday, Ashby, or similar HRIS/ATS platformsExperience building or refining people programs from scratch in a scaling organizationBenefits:Competitive compensation and equity packagesRestricted Stock UnitsPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programsComprehensive health, dental & vision insuranceEmployer contributions to HSA accountPaid parental leavePaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityProfessional development & tuition reimbursementMental health & wellness supportCommuter benefits (parking & transit)Cell phone stipend401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salaryVolunteer time offGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistanceDaily meals allowanceAdditional perks & programs specific to locationCompensation RangeCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $195,000 - $270,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
