Posting Summary: Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking Student Assistants to work in the Dean's Office-Administration. Responsible for managing technology set-up in assigned classrooms. Prior to session - set-up and customize technology settings to meet instructional needs of faculty/presenter. During session - Trouble-shoot during session connecting with SHP Technology staff, as needed. End of session - Return technology set-up to initial settings. Partner with SHP Technology Services staff to get training, report and resolve issues, and ensure all classroom technology is consistently operational. Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The candidate should have familiarity with technology and/or audiovisual equipment. The candidate should also be comfortable with and have an aptitude for working with tech equipment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with setting up and troubleshooting computers and audiovisual equipment is preferred. Equipment Utilized: The candidate should have familiarity with technology and/or audiovisual equipment. Physical Demands: The candidate should be able to lift and move equipment, as well as use carts, ladders and related equipment, in a safe manner. Work Environment: Office environment, moderate noise.
