Job Summary:
The ORT (Operating Room Technician) position is located in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a high-volume operating room environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a rotating shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license; minimum 4+ years of operating room experience; prior travel experience; trauma level 2 experience; proficiency in general surgery, gynecology, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI; strong proficiency with DAVINCI Robot; BLS certification; NBSTSA or NCCT certification (AHA or ARC certifications are also accepted)
• Additional Information: The candidate must have their own vehicle due to on-call responsibilities, which include being available within 30 minutes for OR call-backs. The role may include participation in the holiday rotation and on-call duties with callback pay. The position requires COVID and flu vaccination or adherence to mask policies during flu season, with no exceptions. The traveler may be placed on call during low census hours, with 36 hours of unbillable hours potential.
• Vaccinations: Flu and COVID vaccines are mandatory; masks are required during flu season for those unvaccinated.
