I’ve been a State Farm agent for 15 years and built this agency with a focus on growth, consistency, and creating a great environment for both our team and customers. Before becoming an agent, I was a collegiate baseball player, which helped shape my competitive mindset and team-first approach. I’m married with three kids and stay actively involved in the community through the Chamber of Commerce and coaching youth sports. Family and community are important to me, and that carries into how I lead the office. Our agency is a growing team of five, focused on continuous improvement and getting a little better every day. We prioritize work-life balance and offer flexibility to help support both personal and professional success. For our team, we offer PTO, group health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Our office culture is supportive, goal-oriented, and team-focused. Terrin Thies - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
