A specialty pharmacy is seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide expert long term care and retail pharmacy services. This role offers a structured weekday schedule with occasional weekend hours, ideal for professionals who excel in delivering precise medication management in a specialized setting.

Location:

• Webster City, IA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekend shifts required

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently within a specialty pharmacy environment
• Manage long term care pharmacy services ensuring compliance and patient safety
• Provide retail pharmacy support, including patient counseling and medication reviews
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacist License OR Iowa Temporary License
• Immunization certification preferred to enhance patient care
• CPR certification preferred for emergency readiness
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Prior experience in long term care or retail pharmacy settings is an advantage
