Registered Nurse - ICU
This position operates on a night shift from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with ICU experience for a contract position. The role requires expertise in hemodynamics, CRRT, ICP, EVD, ventilator management, and other critical care procedures. The successful candidate will support patient care in a 14-bed ICU, ensuring high-quality monitoring and management.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients, ensuring optimal care.
- Perform advanced procedures, including central line placements, intubations, and thoracentesis.
- Manage ventilator settings and patient responses, including proning techniques.
- Administer medications and manage infusions related to hemodynamic stability.
- Document patient care in Meditech EMR system accurately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in ICU settings with a focus on high-acuity care
- Knowledge of central line setup/insertion, TPN/PPN, and chest tube management
