Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer [Remote]

Role Overview

Contribute to AI training work by creating, solving, reviewing, and validating challenging software engineering tasks across front-end and back-end systems. This role combines hands-on development, debugging, architecture analysis, code evaluation, and translation of complete coding builds from one programming language to another.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end application components.
• Build user-facing features and the supporting services, APIs, and data models.
• Trace requests and data through browsers, front-end applications, APIs, services, databases, and external integrations.
• Work in unfamiliar repositories and understand existing application architecture.
• Diagnose issues involving application state, API contracts, authentication, persistence, networking, and deployment.
• Evaluate and improve code in multiple programming languages.
• Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience developing production full-stack applications.
• Meaningful hands-on experience across both front-end and back-end engineering.
• Production experience with multiple programming languages, including Python, React, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Rust, Go, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of browser applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integrations.
• Experience contributing to the architecture of complete software systems.
• Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases, with strong debugging and technical problem-solving skills.

Work Terms

• Global, fully remote independent contractor engagement.
• Approximately 15 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule, with the ability to choose working days and hours, including weekends, provided work activity is maintained.
• A minimum number of task submissions is required each week.

Compensation

• Advertised rate: $50 to $100 per hour.
• Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications. Time required per task varies by experience and workflow.

Availability and Application Process

• Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, and immediate availability is preferred.
