Overview

Our organization, specializing in Women's Health, is composed of skilled physicians dedicated to delivering obstetric and gynecological care tailored to the specific age groups of our patients.

We are currently looking for a full-time Physician to join our OB/GYN practice located in New Britain, CT. The team consists of six MDs and one APRN, with all providers sharing on-call responsibilities and serving patients across two office locations. Our practice is affiliated with a local hospital.

Applicants should possess the capability to accurately diagnose patient conditions and recommend suitable treatments. A solid understanding of fetal growth and development principles is essential, along with the ability to assess and categorize the unique needs of patients based on their age.

Position Highlights:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather comprehensive patient medical histories, including health records and examination results.
• Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
• Provide guidance and counseling to patients on adherence to prescribed treatment plans, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional well-being, and health maintenance.
• Develop and execute patient management strategies, monitor hospitalized patients as necessary, document progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
• Achieve proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record System.
• Submit billing at the time of patient visits.

Requirements:

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
• Board certified or board eligible
• Valid Connecticut medical license
• Federal and state controlled substance licenses
• BLS certification
• Eligibility for hospital privileges
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with effective listening and customer service abilities
