This is a traveling installer job. 100% travel within Illinois and outside of the state (IL) is required, paid for by the company. 

Anytime you are not traveling, you are off (a few days to weeks) but still paid your salary. 

Are you looking to kickstart your career in the  construction industry in a salaried role ? We are hiring for a well established  security laminate company based in Northern Illinois.

They are looking for an entry-level security laminate installer to join their team. No experience required, they will train you on the job. If you have some leadership experience, they will fast track you to a leadership role.

Here's what we're looking for:  Someone who shares the company passion/mission of saving lives and is ready to  hit the road , traveling to locations across the country for each installation. But don't worry, when you're not on the job, you'll have plenty of time to yourself to recharge while getting paid the other half of the year.

No prior experience in the field?  No problem! They'll provide comprehensive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installation of security laminate product on various types of windows and buildings, lifting materials, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Follow project instructions from your team lead to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities when interacting with colleagues and management.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time, paid for by the company, for installs. When you aren't traveling you are off and still paid.
• Maintain punctuality, self-motivation, and attention to detail throughout all tasks and projects.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner to contribute to the overall success of the project.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time outside of the state, paid for by the company.
• Fluency in English is required for effective communication on the job.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience is preferred.
• Punctual, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
