Laboratory Medical Director Opportunity
PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified Pathologist to serve as Laboratory Medical Director at a hospital-based practice in Cleveland, TN. This full-time leadership role offers a balance of clinical responsibilities and administrative oversight within a high-functioning regional hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong general surgical pathology skills and leadership experience or aptitude. Leadership opportunity in a community hospital setting
General surgical pathology and cytology case mix
No autopsy requirement
Active participation in hospital committees and lab leadership initiatives
Close working relationships with hospital staff and the laboratory team

Works closely with clinicians to support accurate and timely diagnosis

General surgical pathology and cytopathology sign-out
Serve as Laboratory Medical Director for the hospital
Lead quality assurance, compliance, and laboratory inspections
Participate in tumor boards and interdisciplinary hospital meetings
Provide consults to clinicians and collaborate with the on-site laboratory team
