Fellowship Program Director - Infectious Diseases

The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School seeks qualified candidates at the Assistant to Full Professor level to serve as the Program Director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program. The Program Director will be responsible for the overall Fellowship program, including oversight for the infectious fellows, managing the day-to-day operations of the fellowship, the fellowship curriculum, learning environment, program outcomes, and maintaining ACGME compliance including all required documentation. The Program Director will also attend on the infectious diseases in-patient service and in the ambulatory practice, as well as mentor and teach medical students. Opportunities to join and eventually lead clinical research studies are also available at the onsite NIH funded Clinical Trials Unit that is funded to perform HIV and COVID-19 treatment and prevention studies. Applicants must be ID-board certified and have at least three years of experience in an Internal Medicine or Infectious Disease training program.
