We are seeking an accomplished QA Transformation Project Manager to lead large-scale quality engineering initiatives across a portfolio of strategic programs within the banking, payments, and financial services domain.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned QA professional who can align quality strategy with business objectives, drive enterprise transformation, optimize delivery models, and accelerate the adoption of modern testing practices across complex technology environments.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of strategic program leadership, financial accountability, operational excellence, and deep expertise in transforming traditional QA organizations into scalable, automation-driven, and continuously integrated quality engineering functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪️ QA Transformation & Strategy — Define and execute enterprise QA transformation roadmaps, operating models, and quality engineering strategies aligned with business and technology priorities.

▪️ Enterprise Program Delivery — Lead quality initiatives across complex programs, including platform modernization, cloud migration, regulatory initiatives, and large-scale client implementations.

▪️ Governance & Quality Excellence — Establish standardized QA governance, quality gates, release readiness reviews, performance metrics, and executive reporting frameworks.

▪️ Leadership & Team Development — Lead and mentor QA Project Managers, Test Managers, Test Leads, and Automation Leads across large onshore, offshore, and vendor-supported delivery organizations.

▪️ Budget & Vendor Management — Own multimillion-dollar QA budgets, financial forecasts, resource planning, vendor performance, statements of work, and delivery cost optimization.

▪️ Automation & Modern Engineering Practices — Accelerate test automation, shift-left testing, API and performance testing, CI/CD integration, continuous testing, and AI-assisted testing adoption.

▪️ Executive Stakeholder Engagement — Present program health, quality KPIs, transformation progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership and steering committees.

▪️ Process Standardization & Compliance — Establish and strengthen a QA Center of Excellence (CoE), standardize tools and methodologies, and support compliance with applicable regulatory, audit, and security requirements.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 15+ years of software QA experience , including 5+ years in QA Project Management, Test Project Management, QA Delivery Leadership, or transformation-focused roles.
• Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar QA budgets and distributed teams of 50+ professionals across onshore and offshore environments.
• A track record of leading enterprise QA transformation, cloud migration, platform modernization, or large-scale technology implementation programs.
• Strong command of Agile at scale (SAFe), hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Expertise in Jira, Confluence, and test management platforms such as Xray, Zephyr, qTest, or ALM.
• Experience with reporting and delivery tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of test automation, API and performance testing, DevOps, CI/CD, and continuous testing practices.
• Exceptional leadership, executive communication, stakeholder management, financial planning, and risk mitigation capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications: Banking, payments, card processing, or core banking experience; QA Center of Excellence leadership; vendor/MSP management; mainframe and distributed systems testing; and certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or ISTQB Advanced Test Manager.
