WHAT YOU'LL DO

Student workers perform a variety of routine student services work in support of a college or district program or office.

This application pool will be used for assignments, at Moorpark College, during the 2025-2026 academic year.

Minimum Qualifications


To be eligible for student employment you must be currently enrolled as a full time student (12 units or more) during fall or spring semesters. You may be eligible for student employment when enrolled in less than 12 units if you participate in a Federal Work Study, CalWorks, or Disabled Student Program and Service (DSP&S) program.


1. Positions that include operating a motor vehicle require a clear California Department of Motor Vehicle record, a valid California driver's license, and are restricted to those 18 years of age and older.


2. Positions that include operating motorized equipment (e.g., maintenance, cafeteria) are restricted to those 18 years of age and older.

CA Government Code section 18220 states: "State agencies, when hiring for internships and student assistant positions, shall give preference to a qualified applicant who is, or has been, a dependent child in foster care, a homeless youth, a formerly incarcerated youth, or a victim of human trafficking.
