IT Project Manager (Plcypln) - CES Recent Graduate

Summary The recent graduates program targets individuals who have graduated recently from qualifying educational institutions or programs. To be eligible, applicants must apply within 2 years of degree or certificate completion, except for veterans precluded from doing so due to their military service obligations, who will have up to 6 years after degree or certificate completion. Successful applicants will be placed in a dynamic, career development program. Responsibilities As a participant in the Recent Graduates Program, you will receive both formal and on-the-job training to develop the required knowledge and skill to successfully perform the duties of the position. Monitor and report on project milestones and budgets through all phases of the project, from preliminary assessment to full integration and into initial operation. Apply project management concepts, principles, methods and practices to IT/Telecommunications/Cloud Computing projects Support the coordination and integration of the planning, design, and construction of a portfolio of an IT and Telecommunication project. Complete formal and informal training, as well as rotational assignments intended to provide and enhance necessary technical competencies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Be Considered: Individuals who have obtained a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years. OR Veterans (as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108) who were unable to apply within 2 years of obtaining a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution due to their military service obligation. Veterans have a full 2-year eligibility period to apply upon his/her release or discharge from active duty. The eligibility period for veterans must be within 6 years of degree completion. My work or the data that I produce is typically reviewed by my supervisor or another colleague Customer Service - experience having brief contact with customers to provide information about available information technology products and services and providing customers with standard products or routine services to address information technology needs Oral Communication - experience informing my supervisor and other IT staff of the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of basic technical information to a non-technical audience Problem Solving - identifying or selecting from a number of alternatives to address routine information technology-related issues by gathering and applying information from standard sources that provide a limited number of solutions In addition to the Eligibility, and the Basic Requirement, your resume must demonstrate the following Qualifying Experience: For the GG-07 position, qualifying experience is defined as: assisting in the planning, managing of IT or telecommunication projects.
