General job duties: Circulate Cases, Help with turnover cleaning, Transport patients when needed, Schedule cases. Types of Procedures required to independently circulate: General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, Gynecology. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EPIC/Pyxis/Provation Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 to 3 years at minimum of circulating cases in a hospital setting. Ability to scrub cases is preferred. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, State of Hawaii RN license required for this position. Shift or schedule requirements. We currently operate from Monday through Friday from 0645 to 2315. You shifts may be variable based on department needs. Travelers' will be scheduled 40 hours a week, possibility of 32 hours if their is a holiday. We cover call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Everyone is assigned call, on average 1-2 times a week plus up to 2 weekends a month. **Must be within 30 minute radius of hospital for call back The applicant will orient on the day shift for up to 1 week or under manager's discretion. Traveler must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the duration of the contract if RTO (requested time off) is requested and approved. discretion. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: we have 6 OR suites plus one dedicated to C sections. Daily we have 4 to 6rooms running simultaneously. We are a small but very busy and efficient OR. Dress Code: Scrubs are provided.
