Administrative CoordinatorAct as liaison between Arkansas School Board Association and employee to coordinate workers' compensation claimsCoordinate the Family and Medical Leave process (eligibility, notices, payroll, etc.), complying with federal guidelines, and assisting employees with appropriate voluntary benefit claim formsCoordinate the state maternity leave processComplete required payroll items by the monthly deadline, including but not limited to importing attendance and calculating dockingDistrict contact for the outside substitute agency and coordinator of the long-term substitute processAssist with the electronic records and applicant tracking system (form creation, workflows, troubleshooting, employee questions, etc.)Complete fingerprinting and assist all new hires and volunteers with the background check processPrint district ID badges for new hires and yearly for existing employeesComplete all verbal and written employment verifications, professional development verifications, and prior experience verificationsRegister new certified hires for novice teacher trainingAdminister the ParaPro Assessment for new hires as neededAssist licensed staff with teaching license renewalsUpdate Labor Law notices and distribute them to all locations in the districtAssist with creation of staff contract calendarsCover office receptionist for lunch daily and as neededProvide administrative assistance for the offices of Deputy Superintendent and Assistant SuperintendentHigh school diploma or GEDClean background checkStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to operate office equipment such as a computer, printer, fax machine, and telephoneBe able to sit for long periods of time.Be able to bend, stoop, reach and lift.
