We incorporate environmental stewardship, safety, and compliance into our day-to-day operations and seek to strengthen and support the communities we serve.We are currently looking for a Facilities Manager for our Houston, TX office.Position Summary:The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facilities across all Boardwalk office locations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional work environment. This position partners with internal stakeholders, property management, contractors, and service providers to support business continuity, operational efficiency, employee experience, and long-term facility needs.Key Responsibilities:Facilities Operations & MaintenanceVendor & Contract ManagementFinancial Management & Budget OversightSpace Planning & Facility ProjectsSafety, Security & Business ContinuityStakeholder Partnership & Team LeadershipRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, building operations, commercial property management, or a related field.In-depth knowledge of commercial building operations, maintenance practices, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing vendors, and overseeing complex facility operations.Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget management, cost analysis, and expense oversight.Proven project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment in operational decisions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with facilities management or work order systems.Ability to travel to Boardwalk office locations and respond to after-hours facility issues as business needs require.Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Experience managing corporate office facilities across multiple locations.Knowledge of commercial lease agreements, property management practices, and landlord/tenant responsibilities.Education:Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent progressive professional experience will be considered.Additional Information:Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hiring.Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, is an equal opportunity employer.
