Recent breakthroughs in Large Language Models and diffusion-based generative models have propelled AI into new frontiers. What You’ll Do Conduct cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI and science Develop large-scale deep learning models for scientific discovery Work closely with experts in machine learning, domain sciences, and AI Contribute to the development of interpretable and high-performing AI models Develop and train large AI models for science Collaborate and/or mentor other students, postdocs, Software Engineers, Research Analysts and Research Scientists. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the full-time annual compensation range for the Research Scientist level is $120,000 - $250,000 depending on experience. Education and Experience Education: Ph.D. in machine learning, computer science, engineering or related technical discipline. Experience: Experience in developing novel ML architectures Expertise in developing and training large AI models is preferred Research expertise in one major area of computational science is preferred.
