Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential or eligibility in Colorado
• Previous experience working with PK-5 students and moderate behavioral needs preferred
• Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual students
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with moderate behavioral challenges
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure student success
• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom atmosphere
