Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical

Part Time, 2 shifts of 12 hours each, Rotational Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Holidays)

Requirements

• NYS RN Licensure Required
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs through active listening and observation.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on changes in conditions.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and lifestyle changes post-discharge.
• Promote a healing environment and foster trust within the healthcare team.
• Document patient education and responses to ensure continuity of care.
