Talent Development Coordinator

Coordinate and track New Employee Orientation task lists for each cohort Support execution of New Employee Orientation sessions Assist with orientation facilitation and serve as a backup facilitator when needed Coordinate day-of logistics, including materials, room setup, technology needs, participant communications, attendance tracking, and onsite support Create and maintain orientation and onboarding resources, including job aids, communications, intranet updates, and related materials Partner with Talent Development, HR, IT, Facilities, and other stakeholders on orientation logistics and new hire readiness Support employee onboarding activities, including assigning New Manager training and completing follow-up tasks Provide onsite and coordination support for Talent Development programs and ad hoc requests Use project management software to organize and monitor tasks, deadlines, program details, and follow-up items Use approved AI tools to streamline routine tasks and improve work outputs Learn Talent Development processes, systems, principles, and facilitation practices Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key partners Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a task-based environment by managing assigned activities, tracking details, following established processes, and completing work accurately and on time Ability to use AI tools responsibly to streamline routine work, improve efficiency, and produce accurate, high-quality work outputs Ability to learn and use project management or task-tracking software Ability to take work direction, clarify expectations, and adjust priorities based on manager guidance Ability to work a hybrid schedule in San Diego and provide regular onsite support for Talent Development programs Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future Prior administrative, coordination, customer service, teaching, training, event support, onboarding, or office support experience preferred Exposure to or interest in in-person and virtual facilitation preferred Comfort assisting with in-person facilitation, room management, participant engagement, and day-of program support preferred Curiosity about how people learn and willingness to support effective employee learning experiences preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate New Employee Orientation and onboarding processes.
