Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, treatments, and responses in the facility EMR system
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and standards of nursing practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or active Multistate (Compact) RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or acute care Medical Surgical environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in hospital settings
