About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 9 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with cardiac telemetry - Competence in managing blood products and central lines - Ability to perform tracheostomy care and manage chest tubes Description: This position requires a registered nurse working in a progressive care unit. The nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients. The patient ratio for days is 4 patients per nurse, with similar ratios for nights and weekends. The role involves floating within the facility and adhering to the scope of practice as needed. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start may be pushed back. If assigned during major holidays, the nurse is expected to work. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Travelers must complete onboarding compliance tasks within 48 hours of contract signing. This position does not require a COVID-19 vaccine. The flu vaccine status is unknown at this time.
