Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within an acute care operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulator duties as assigned during surgical procedures
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as operationally required
• Participate in holiday coverage, including availability for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid California RN license (pending license considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify at standard traveler terms
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care environment
• Familiarity with variable shift scheduling in a surgical setting
