Position Description Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin - offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly Hourly Pay $22.25 per hour Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour premium for working second shift and $1.00 per hour shift premium working Wed-Sat Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 3:30pm-3:30am and every other Wednesday 3:30pm-3:30am Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Focus on continuous improvement designed for success Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Excellent PC skills in MS Office SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned. Responsibilities Check truck drivers in and out Coordinate inbound and outbound loads Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity in accordance with warehouse direction and vendor assignment in warehouse Verify the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation Partner with the inventory department to resolve any discrepancies Assist in appointment scheduling as needed Update required reports on a timely basis Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified Other duties as required or assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
