Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care for medically/surgically stabilized patients under the supervision of the Unit Director
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; document accurately in the medical record
• Telemetry monitoring and timely escalation of findings when telemetry is indicated or required
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Maintain compliance with Maine Board of Nursing requirements and facility policies; ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Requirements

• Current Maine RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking abilities; flexibility to work in a hospital setting
