My client, a community hospital in middle Vermont, is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist.
This is a full-time, permanent position with comprehensive benefits. They have multiple shifts available.
Responsibilities:
- Works under the supervision, provider, or department leadership
- Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and procedures.
- Recognizes cross-sectional anatomy.
- Provides excellent customer service and complies with hospital policies and procedures.
- Properly records patient exams and patient results.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduated from an accredited ultrasound program
- Prior experience or training in general abdomen ultrasound, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts
- sARDMS certified or ARDMS eligible (must become certified within first year of employment),and must be scheduled to take or have already passed the ARDMS Sonography Principles and Instrumentation Exam
- BLS Certification
