Position: Registered Nurse - Med Surg Location: Petoskey Shift: Night Shift Schedule: 3x12 Experience Required: 2 Years Weekly Pay: $2200 to $2420 Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient status throughout treatment Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition promptly Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing patient needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care guidelines Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience Current BLS Certification required ACLS Certification preferred Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced acute care environment Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems Ability to work effectively both independently and within an interdisciplinary team Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care About United Health Care Staffing, Inc.
