• Shift: Day shift, 3x11 hours (07:00 - 18:00), with occasional evening call (few during scheduled periods)
• Hours/week: 33 hours/week (average)
• Employment Type: Contract/Per diem
• License/Certs: Active Physician Assistant license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (or willing to obtain)
• Experience: Prefer 1-2 years in trauma/emergency care or related setting

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $140.40/hour
• Pay package discussed upon application

What You ll Do

• Provide trauma and emergency patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Chart and document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Conduct patient rounds and communicate findings to the team
• Assist in trauma resuscitations and procedure support
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled, with minimal overnight calls

What You Need
Required:

• Active Physician Assistant license in Idaho or willing to license
• Prior experience in trauma or emergency medicine preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable charting and rounding in fast-paced trauma setting

Preferred:

• 1-2 years of trauma/emergency care experience
• Epic EMR familiarity
