Construction Project Manager (Commercial & Institutional)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects across commercial, public, and institutional sectors, including K-12. The Project Manager will oversee project delivery from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating mechanical and electrical disciplines, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and deliver projects on time and on budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of projects in commercial, public, institutional, and K-12 environments.Coordinate mechanical and electrical design, installation, and commissioning activities; review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and compliance.Manage project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and procurement to meet financial targets and reduce risk.Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular project updates and meetings.Oversee subcontractor selection, performance, and coordination to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, verify work, and enforce safety and quality standards.Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues promptly, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, meeting minutes, and closeout deliverables.Mentor and lead project teams, assigning tasks, tracking performance, and fostering collaboration across disciplines.Support business development and proposal efforts by contributing technical guidance, scope development, and cost estimates.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of project management experience with a General ContractorProven experience with commercial, public, institutional, and/or K-12 projects and understanding of their unique requirements.Proven experience with Tenant Improvements or RemodelsKnowledge of HVAC systems, MEP coordination, commissioning, and shop drawing review.Proficiency with project management and construction tools (MS Project, Procore, Primavera) and familiarity with BIM/Revit.Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and client-management skills.Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.BenefitsCompetitive Salary: $120,000 - $170,00012 All-Company Paid Holidays Each YearUnlimited PTO with Mandatory Minimum UsageUp to 14 Weeks of Paid Parental LeaveFlexible Hybrid Work ScheduleSignificant Employee Performance BonusesGenerous 401k Match and Vesting from Day 180% Employer-Paid Health Insurance Coverage, plus Dental, Vision, & HSAEmployer-Paid Short Term Disability & Life InsuranceProfessional Development Budget & Cell Phone ReimbursementRelocation Benefits
